The long-term damage caused by Johnson’s lies

Following Johnson’s slur on care homes on Monday today at Prime Minister‘s questions he made the following response to Keir Starmer:

‘….keeps saying that I blamed or tried to blame care workers and that is simply not the case. The reality is that we now know things about The way the coronavirus is passed from person to person without symptoms but we just didn’t know…. ‘

No doubt that Johnson and puppet master Cummings will deem it job done when people start to question the treatment of the elderly in care homes.  This is all designed to undermine trust in all organisations in the country.  Lying has proved successful for Johnson and the other narcissist currently occupying the role of President of the United States.  What this teaches the youth of today is that there is nothing to be gained by being truthful.  When lying becomes the norm society as we know it will have completely broken down.

Another aspect of this is the long-term damage caused by the warped minds of two world leaders (three if we include the puppet master).  In the workplace many of us have encountered managers  with disturbing personalities and the effects that they can have within the organisation.  When this occurs at a national level the effects on society may be enormously damaging and long-lasting.  But still people vote for this ……
